Mini /Micro Segmental Piling (SFA) Segmental Flight Auger
This method good for limited site access and limited headrooms, for works we will use rigs range from 2Tonne, door entrance drivable rig what can drill piles from 150mm up to 300mm in diameter maximum depth 15m, up to 15 Tonne piling rig what can drill from 300mm diameter up to 450mm in dimeter down to 20m, Augers came on 1m-1.5m section and are install manually meter by meter down. That solution will works on a clay or chalk grounds, bore formed hole needs to stay formed and open with no water strikes and grovels. This method is vibration free.

This method good for limited site access and limited hight headrooms, for works we will use range rigs from 3 Tonne, rig what can drill piles from 250mm up to 450mm in diameter maximum depth 15m, up to 15 Tonne piling rig what can drill from 300mm diameter up to 600mm in dimeter down to 17m. Augers came on 1m-1.5m section and are install manually meter by meter down. That solution will works on wet, gravels, sandy ground conditions where open form steady hole will be not able to reach and hole will collapse after auger extracting. This method allow us to pump concrete trough the middle of augers while slowly augers are taken out from ground, filled concrete will stop site of bored holes collapsing in. Next step will be to install reinforcement in a hole to finish pile off once concrete still fresh and wet. This method is vibration free.
Drop Hammer/Steel Cased Bottom Driven Piles
This solution allow us to install metal tubes in a ground by dropping weight on them ,constantly driven them down once required set is achieve, Tubes later are cutting off to right level then reinforced and concreting. Driven metal Casing piles are good for made up ground where loose material would not allow to form a hole, once tubes penetrated made up ground it will start driven down into virgin ground start compacting existing strata till more going down is refuse or near refuse. We can give you diameter from 150mm up to 300mm. Piling rig what we using is compacted
3 tonne rig with 780mm wide tracking access.
Steel Cased Grundomat Driven Piles
Same solution as Drop Hummer method, but using pneumatic air equipment what will produce less vibration in a ground comparing with drop hummer solution, this solution is limited on pile load capacity and is working perfectly on a small domestic projects. Nearly unlimited site access. Pile diameter from 100mm up to 150mm.
CFA Piling Contiguous Flight Auger
That solution is will suite semi open and open sites such a new builds. Piling rig what can be use, depend of pile spec is from 15t up to 60t rigs, String of Auger going into ground as one hit and depend of piling rig spec, string of augers can be ranged form 12m down to 25m including special kelly bar what will push augers down. This method allow to form pile well quick way as just 10-15min for a pile including concreting (again we can leave bore hole open if able to or concrete bore hole trough a middle of augers).
Ws-Piling can Give you from 300mm to 600mm in dimeter bore hole.
Rotary Bored Piling (RBA)
That particular method can be use where high load capacity of pile is required, but pile depth is limited, Rotary piling rig can have phenomenal big diameter, so it will allow to get good ground bearing base on mass concrete fill, rather going well deep, however talking about depth of rotary piling you can still go well deep (circa 25m).
That option is well suitable for a clay /chalk grounds where open bore pile can be formed without need of concreting via auger.
Rigs usually have telescopic bar and 1-1.5m auger bit at the end, Operator spin auger into a ground just same depth as auger bit is, taken auger out with scooped soils resting at auger, then swing rig out on a site to un spin auger to get rid off resting soil, then all operation is repeating but deeper sort of auger depth each time till required depth is reached.
